Effective date
August 30, 2026
We don't like being followed around the internet any more than you do. So we collect as little as possible, keep it only as long as we need it, and never sell it, trade it, or use it to chase you with ads.
What we collect and why
Event reservations: If you reserve a spot at one of our tastings, live music nights, or special pours, we ask for your name, email, and party size. That's it. We use it to hold your spot, send you a reminder, and know how many glasses to set out.
Newsletter: If you sign up for our email list, we only ask for your email. We send you distillery news, event flyers, and the occasional story from behind the still.
We do not ask for phone numbers, birthdays, mailing addresses, or payment details. If you buy a bottle at the tasting room, that's between you, the bartender, and the cash register — we don't store that information online.
Who sees it
Lovable Cloud — hosts this website and holds our database. They're the digital equivalent of the locked back room where we keep the good stuff.
Resend — the service that actually delivers our emails. They see your email address so the message can land in your inbox, and that's all they need.
Nobody else gets a look. We don't use analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or social-media widgets that snoop on what you do here.
Cookies and tracking
We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. The site may set a simple cookie to keep you signed in if we ever add member-only pages, but we don't follow you from site to site, and we don't build a profile of where else you've been.
How long we keep it
Event reservations are deleted 90 days after the event ends. We don't need to know who came to last summer's burro-race party once the glasses are washed and put away.
Newsletter emails stay on our list until you tell us otherwise. There's an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email we send, and we'll remove you as soon as you click it — no guilt, no extra steps.
Your rights
Want to correct your reservation, see what we have, or have us delete it entirely? Write to us at snitchingladydistillery@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.
To leave the mailing list, use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter. If the link gives you trouble, reply to the email and we'll remove you by hand.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and bump the effective date at the top. We won't bury the news in a newsletter footnote — the latest version will always live right here.
If you have questions, just ask. We're a small distillery and we'd rather talk to you than hide behind a wall of legal text.
